Tips

Work the past papers with a pencil and draw a diagram for every question that implies one — even the ones that do not ask. Markers award for a correct, labelled diagram whether or not the question demanded it.

Mark yourself on four separate things: both axes labelled, curves named, the shift arrowed, the new equilibrium marked. Those are four scheme points, and candidates routinely produce a recognisable diagram that earns two of them.

Use the multiple-choice paper as a diagnostic, not as practice. Work one, then look only at what you got wrong and find which topic they cluster in — that is where the structured paper will catch you too.
