Tips

Attempt the experimental-design questions first. They appear reliably, they depend least on remembering a specific relationship, and they teach the phrasing the rubric rewards across the whole paper.

Check that you answered the question asked. Many prompts want a comparison — greater than, less than, or equal to — with a justification. A full numerical solution to a question that never asked for a number earns no more than the comparison alone.

Sketch the field for every question that involves one — field lines, equipotentials, a circuit redrawn simply. The sketch is often what makes the justification obvious.
