Speaking
Speaking Room
The real three-part interview, under the real clock. You type your answers; three of the four criteria are marked.
Card 34 / 40
Part 1 · Food and cooking
Four familiar-topic questions. Answer each one, then add one reason or example — never a single word.
- What did you have for breakfast this morning?
- Do you prefer eating at home or eating out? Why?
- Have your eating habits changed in the last few years?
- Is there a dish you would like to learn to cook?
Part 2 · The long turn
Describe a small action you took to reduce waste.
You should say:
- what you changed
- what prompted the change
- what difficulties you encountered
- and explain whether you continued doing it
1:00
One minute to prepare with paper and a pencil — the box stays locked, exactly as the examiner keeps the card. Then two minutes, and it does not stop early.
Part 3 · Discussion
Abstract follow-ups on the same theme. Give a view, a reason, an example, then the other side — a one-sentence answer is the standard failure here.
- Why do small environmental habits sometimes fail to continue?
- How can organisations make a less wasteful choice convenient?
- Should environmental claims explain the limits of an action?
- How can a school check whether a waste-reduction project actually helped?
