Speaking
Speaking Room
The real three-part interview, under the real clock. You type your answers; three of the four criteria are marked.
Card 35 / 40
Part 1 · Weather and seasons
Four familiar-topic questions. Answer each one, then add one reason or example — never a single word.
- What is the weather like where you live?
- Which season do you like best, and why?
- Does the weather affect how you feel?
- What did you do the last time it rained all day?
Part 2 · The long turn
Describe a purchase you thought about carefully before making.
You should say:
- what you wanted to buy
- what you compared
- how you made your decision
- and explain whether the purchase met your needs
1:00
One minute to prepare with paper and a pencil — the box stays locked, exactly as the examiner keeps the card. Then two minutes, and it does not stop early.
Part 3 · Discussion
Abstract follow-ups on the same theme. Give a view, a reason, an example, then the other side — a one-sentence answer is the standard failure here.
- Why can a large number of choices make a decision harder?
- How useful are reviews when choosing a product?
- Should a low price be the main reason for a purchase?
- How can advertising influence what people think they need?
