Speaking
Speaking Room
The real three-part interview, under the real clock. You type your answers; three of the four criteria are marked.
Card 26 / 40
Part 1 · Shopping
Four familiar-topic questions. Answer each one, then add one reason or example — never a single word.
- Do you enjoy shopping?
- Do you buy more online or in shops? Why?
- What was the last thing you bought for yourself?
- Are shops in your area busier than they used to be?
Part 2 · The long turn
Describe a public facility you find useful.
You should say:
- what the facility is
- where it is
- how you use it
- and explain why it is useful to you
1:00
One minute to prepare with paper and a pencil — the box stays locked, exactly as the examiner keeps the card. Then two minutes, and it does not stop early.
Part 3 · Discussion
Abstract follow-ups on the same theme. Give a view, a reason, an example, then the other side — a one-sentence answer is the standard failure here.
- How should a town decide which facilities to fund first?
- Why does opening time affect a facility's usefulness?
- Can a free facility still be difficult to access?
- How can users give useful feedback about a public service?
