Speaking
Speaking Room
The real three-part interview, under the real clock. You type your answers; three of the four criteria are marked.
Card 37 / 40
Part 1 · Free time
Four familiar-topic questions. Answer each one, then add one reason or example — never a single word.
- What do you usually do at the weekend?
- Do you prefer spending free time alone or with other people?
- Is there a hobby you used to have but gave up?
- What new activity would you like to try?
Part 2 · The long turn
Describe something you learned about the history of your area.
You should say:
- what you learned
- where the information came from
- how you checked or explored it
- and explain why it interested you
1:00
One minute to prepare with paper and a pencil — the box stays locked, exactly as the examiner keeps the card. Then two minutes, and it does not stop early.
Part 3 · Discussion
Abstract follow-ups on the same theme. Give a view, a reason, an example, then the other side — a one-sentence answer is the standard failure here.
- What sources can help people learn about local history?
- Why is it useful to distinguish a memory from a written record?
- Should changes to an area preserve signs of its past?
- How can a local history project include different experiences?
