Speaking
Speaking Room
The real three-part interview, under the real clock. You type your answers; three of the four criteria are marked.
Card 30 / 40
Part 1 · Languages
Four familiar-topic questions. Answer each one, then add one reason or example — never a single word.
- How long have you been learning English?
- What part of it do you find hardest?
- Would you like to learn another language? Which one?
- How do you practise outside your lessons?
Part 2 · The long turn
Describe a tradition that is important to your family.
You should say:
- what your family does
- when you do it
- how you take part
- and explain why it matters to you
1:00
One minute to prepare with paper and a pencil — the box stays locked, exactly as the examiner keeps the card. Then two minutes, and it does not stop early.
Part 3 · Discussion
Abstract follow-ups on the same theme. Give a view, a reason, an example, then the other side — a one-sentence answer is the standard failure here.
- Why do some family traditions continue while others change?
- Should younger people be allowed to adapt traditions?
- Can a small everyday habit become a tradition?
- How can families include people who live far away?
