settling timeThe time a response takes to stay within a small band, often 2%, of its final value.
steady-state errorThe difference between the desired output and the actual output after the response has settled.
system typeThe number of uncancelled integrators in the specified loop transfer function for the standard tracking-error classification.
velocity error constantFor the standard unity-feedback model, the low-frequency limit of s times loop transfer function, used to evaluate ramp-tracking error.
