Speaking: introductions and meeting people

Introduced
Watch lesson

Make an introduction, then respond

  • Outcome: introduce yourself or a friend, keep the intended name and origin, and answer a spelling or clarification question. Start with be and introductions, pronouns and names listening if these patterns are new.
  • First rehearse the five existing models, then try the open speaking tasks without a supplied sentence. Recordings stay on this page and disappear on reload; they are not uploaded or given pronunciation scores. Use invented personal details.
